Greetings Community Counseling Center (CCC) Friends, Partners, and Supporters:
The agency is pleased to announce that the “Mindfulness for Resilience” virtual group series has been extended and will be running indefinitely until the need changes (see the updated PDF flyer attached)!
The CCC is very proud that the groups have been a success and that our wonderful facilitators will be continuing with delivery of the group resource.
For this interested in checking this out, the group sessions occur every Thursdays from 11a-12p (PST, last half hour, 1130a-12p, is optional at all sessions for sharing and questions) and will be continue to be hosted by Clinical Committee, Chair, John Elfers, PhD/LMFT (Certified MBSR Instructor) and Jyll Maxwell, AMFT.
Remember, the virtual sessions happen through ZOOM and are OPEN at NO Charge to the entire populace and aimed to engage a broad spectrum of CCC contacts!
You and your network are welcomed to join us for a key moment of community education, consciousness/awareness raising, and emotional regulatory skill building to support the new and complex challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
CCC also has capacity to provide individual, couples and family therapy for our sliding scale, CenCal/Medi-Cal, and victims of crime counseling programs. Call 805-543-7969 for more information on scheduling an intake.
*Note: you need not attend all sessions and may attend the date/s that work best for your schedule.
